About Me

Hello,
I am Ashok Dey, a software engineer with a decade of experience turning ideas into scalable applications that drive business impact and solve meaningful problems. I began as a full-stack engineer and transitioned into a backend specialist, building everything from MVPs to large-scale systems across the cloud, distributed architectures, and polyglot databases.
Driven by curiosity, I dive into system internals to understand not just how things work, but why they’re designed that way. Currently, exploring the software-hardware boundary. This site reflects my ongoing experiments and continuous learning.
TL;DR

- Leadership & Mentorship: Building and guiding development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Always Learning: Continuously exploring the internals of computer systems, databases, and operating systems.
Communities
I was actively associated with multiple tech communities of NCR region of India, focussed on JavaScript and Go. One of my most prominent contributions was with JSLovers. I have successfully organized 10+ events and in addition to organizing, I’ve delivered 20+ technical talks across a wide range of topics.
